Privacy policy
The protection of your personal data is one of our prime concerns. We therefore observe the applicable legal provisions on the protection, lawful use and secrecy of personal data and on data security (DSGVO, TKG 2003). Below, we inform you about the type, scope and purpose of collection and use of your personal data and about your rights.
Personal data
Personal data will only be processed by us, if you actively provide them to us, e.g. if contact us via email.
Server-log files
In order to optimize this website in relation to its system-performance, usability and the provision of useful information on our services, the provider of this website (World4You) automatically collects and stores information in so called server-log files. This includes:
- the page being accessed (URL)
- the type of web browser
- the operating system used
- the referrer URL (the Internet page from which you have accessed the current page)
- internet-protocol address (anonymised)
- the time at which access occurred
Anonymous information of this kind may be statistically evaluated by us to optimize our website and the underlying technology and is stored for security reasons.
Google Maps
On our contact page you can display a map from Google Maps. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The map is only loaded once you click “Load map”. Only then does your browser connect to Google’s servers. In doing so, in particular your IP address and information about your browser are transmitted to Google, possibly also to servers in the USA, and Google may set cookies. The legal basis is the consent you give with this click (Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO). Without your click, no data is transmitted to Google.
Your consent only applies to that page view and is not stored. The next time you open the contact page, the map is again only loaded after a click.
The link “Open in Google Maps” takes you directly to Google. Information on which data Google collects and how it is used can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Patient information
We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that the collection and storage of personal data forms an integral part of the process of providing dental treatment. The collection and storage of personal data is necessary for all forms of dental treatment and it is not possible to provide dental treatment without the collection and storage of such data.
The personal data stored by the practice will only be passed on to third parties if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. statutory health insurance) or if you have consented to the data being passed on. Personal data will be passed on to third parties only to the extent that is necessary or is approved by you. Some dental work (crowns, inlays, splints, etc.) may be contracted out to a dental laboratory. As a rule, the dental technician involved only receives your name for the assignment of the technical work to be carried out. (Details may be obtained from reception)
The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purposes of processing. However, we have a duty to retain health data under statutory data retention and preservation requirements.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal of consent and to objection. Please note that we are obliged to process the respective data partially without your consent in case of any requests regarding deletion, restriction, revocation and opposition due to legal regulations.
If we process data on the basis of your consent (for example, consent in the context of patient education, e-mail), you can revoke this consent at any time – in writing and without stating reasons – with effect for the future. However, the revocation does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out until then.
If you believe that the processing of your data breaches data protection law or your rights under data protection law have been infringed in any other way, you may file a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), (Wickenburggasse 8, 1080 Wien, dsb@dsb.gtv.at).
